Musical Discoveries Half Day Camp (Ages 4-9)

Monday-Friday, 9:30-12:00pm

A fun and creative way, to not only introduce music to children, but is suitable for children who have had previous music instruction as well.

All Camps includes Music Sampler!  Introductory voice, piano, guitar, and drum instructions are included!  Perfect for children and parents who can't decide what instrument they would like to learn!

Learn about all aspects of music through games, crafts, and playing instruments.

Camps include:

Chess Camp for Novice ~ Intermediate Players (All Ages)

Monday-Friday, 12pm~3pm
Camp lead by well-known Region III Scholastic Director, David Harvey.  Students are offered a uniquely-structured opportunity to develop and nurture a love of chess and enhance their learning experience within an inspiring and fun environment.  Students will be evaluated to determine the best fit based on age and level of play.  Students discover new friendships while balancing the challenge of competitive teamwork with individual effort.  Tournaments on Friday and is open to the public.

Voice: Broadway & Theatrical Singing (Ages 6-11)

Learn songs from well-known classic Broadway Shows such as "The Sound of Music, "Annie," Mary Poppins," and much more!  Vocal warm ups & exercises.  A casual performance at the last class.

Voice: Disney Moana Camp (Ages 5 & up)

Learn songs and different voice techniques to perfect singing the songs from the hit movie Moana!

Voice: Pop Music Camp (Ages 5-9, 10 & up)

Learn songs from the most popular music from the recent billboard charts, including Olivia Holt, Sabrina Carpenter, Dove Cameron & more!

Pop Music for Pianists (Ages 7 & up)

Students will have fun learning music from recent top hits from the billboard charts!  Reading ability required, at least 1-2 years of previous experiences required.

Piano Introduction (Ages 4-7 & 7-12)

Monday-Friday, 55 minute classes

An introductory course designed for the beginner pianos students. Students will learn all aspects of piano playing including note reading, technique, ear training, music theory, musicianship, solo and ensemble playing through motivating materials. Our unique technique and teaching philosophy encourage progressive learning in an encouraging and fun environment. Students will receive both private and group instructions within the 55 minute classes, and parents may come in to speak to the teacher at the last 5 minutes of the class to receive homework instructions and discuss progresses. Casual recital/presentation scheduled at the end of the session.


Star Wars for Piano (Ages 4-7 & 7-12)

Class Designed for intermediate students with at least 1-2 years of piano lesson experience.  Small class size.  Learn famous tunes from Star Wars!!!  Students learn their individual parts, and also learn how to play with each other.  Mini recital/presentation at the end of the session.  Reading ability required.


Intro to Drumming (Ages 6-12)

This fun and exciting camp will introduce students to the world of drumming and drum sets.  Students will also explore rhythms from different cultures.  Students will learn rhythms and basic drumming technique. 


Guitar Introduction (Acoustic & Electric. Ages 6-11 & 11 & up)

Monday-Friday, 55 minute classes

An introductory course designed for the beginner guitar students. Students will study the basics of the guitar, including note reading, chord playing, music theory, solo and ensemble playing and basic guitar techniques through motivating materials. Our unique technique and teaching philosophy encourages progressive learning in an encouraging and fun environment. Students will receive both private and group instructions within the 55 minute classes, and parents may come in to speak to the teacher at the last 5 minutes of the class to receive homework instructions and discuss progresses. Casual recital/presentation scheduled at the end of the session.  Please note that we do not supply the instrument, you will need to bring your own guitar.


Pop Songs for Guitarists (Ages 6-11)

Class Designed for intermediate students.  Small class size. Play fun songs from the recent hits.  Students learn their individual parts, and also learn how to play with each other.  Mini recital/presentation at the end of the session.  Reading ability required, must bring your own instrument


Violin Introduction (Ages 6 & up)

Monday-Friday, 55 minute classes

This course is designed to learn the basic violin technique with a unique combination of Suzuki and traditional method.  Please note that we do not supply the instrument, you will need to bring your own violin, we may provide affordable instrument rental information.
