Pulip Han, Vocalist

Pulip Han, a soprano from Seoul, South Korea, is currently in her first year pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance at the University of North Texas under the guidance of Professor Carol Wilson. Her recent opera credits include Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), and the Wood Sprite (Rusalka), performed with Wichita Grand Opera, Indiana University, and Wichita State University. In February 2026, she will make her debut as Morgana in Alcina with UNT Opera.

Ms. Han’s competition achievements include first prize in the 2024 NAFTZGER Young Artists Competition, an Encouragement Award from the 2024 Arkansas District, winner of the 2025 Wichita State University Concerto Competition, and finalist in the 2025 UNT Concerto Competition. She holds a Graduate Certificate from Wichita State University—where she also served as a Teaching Assistant—along with a Master of Music degree from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Hanyang University.

In addition to her performance career, Ms. Han is a dedicated and passionate voice teacher. She has extensive experience working with students of all ages, from young beginners discovering their musical voice to adult learners pursuing personal artistic growth. Her teaching approach is supportive, detail-oriented, and rooted in healthy vocal technique. Through her work in private instruction, Ms. Han has helped students build confidence, develop musicality, and achieve meaningful progress in both classical and contemporary vocal styles.
