Jason Bolak, Guitarist

Mr. Jason graduated with his B.S. in Music Education from Texas A&M University Commerce University in 2008. He is currently studying under Carlo Pezzimenti, former student of Andres Segovia, for a Masters of Music Pedagogy in classical guitar. Classically trained, Mr. Jason is also proficient in most contemporary forms of electric guitar to advanced and professional levels.

Performing in master classes for Carlo Pezzimenti as well as Miguel Romero, Mr. Jason's performances range from classical guitar recitals, art exhibits, formal dinners, to even coffee shops and small club venues. Mr. Jason has also accompanied violinists, flutists, choirs, and was a guest guitar performer with percussionist Greg Bissonette (Santana, David Lee Roth). As well as performing on both classical and electric guitar, he has performed as a baritone choir singer, violinist, and fretless bassist.

Mr. Jason has taught guitar since 2004 in styles ranging from contemporary technical rock guitar to classical and jazz styles. He also was Associate Orchestra Director for J. J. Pearce High School from 2008-2010. Where he took a Superior rating at UIL in 2009 with his Varsity orchestra at UIL and the first ever Superior rating for Non-Varsity at their trip to Houston.
