Sean Kim, Pianist 

Sean Sundo Kim began studying the piano at the age of six in Korea. After moving to the United States at age 13, his interest in music and teaching sparked as he met his music teacher in high school. Sean began his music career accompanying at his high school orchestra and choir as well as playing the keyboard in his church band. His passion for music led him to continue studying music in college and received his bachelor’s Degree in “Music Performance” at James Madison University.

During College years, his fine skills at accompanying and performing classical music earned him multiple scholarships every academic year. In his junior year, Sean received a scholarship to study under Elizabeth Pridonoff at the Brevard Camp.

After graduating college, Sean has been performing in live bands for over 6 years in New York and Washington D.C. Some of his notable performances include “Amateur Night (Finalist)” at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York and “Branding Korea” at the Mellon Auditorium in Washington D.C. Sean has been giving piano lessons for over eight years to a wide age range of students with diverse backgrounds. Sean loves sharing his love and passion for music to his students and bring joy to their daily lives through music!
