Sujeong Sin, Pianist


South Korean pianist, Sujeong Sin, distinguished herself through her academic pursuits and musical accomplishments. Commencing her educational journey at Mokwon University in South Korea, she successfully attained her undergraduate degree with exceptional dedication.



Following her pursuit of excellence, Sujeong traversed to the United States to further enrich her musical prowess. At University of Texas at Austin, she pursued Master of Music degree, alongside earning a Certificate of Performance, under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Gregory Allen.

Sujeong continued to pursue her Doctoral degree at University of North Texas under the expert tutelage of Prof. Adam Wodnicki.


Sujeong's musical talents have garnered numerous accolades in various music competitions, including the Korean Culture and Arts National Music Competition, the National Youth Music Competition, and the VMP National Music Competition. Furthermore, her remarkable abilities led to her being awarded the esteemed Butler School of Music Scholarship not once, but twice, further affirming her exceptional musical acumen.


In addition to her impressive accomplishments, Sujeong actively pursued a passion for instructing aspiring pianists. Under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Sofia Gilmson, Sujeong adeptly taught college non-majors and young students, displaying a genuine enjoyment in imparting her knowledge to learners of all ages and proficiency levels. Her dedication to nurturing the potential of her students, coupled with her fervent commitment to helping them achieve their musical ambitions, reflects her unwavering passion for education and musical excellence.
