Lucy Lively, Vocalist

Lucy Lively is a soprano who holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Texas Baptist College. Her vocal training is rooted in classical technique and repertoire, which culminated in a college workshop production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute.

Although her formal training is in classical music, Lucy enjoys teaching a variety of styles and has a particular love for musical theatre. Throughout her college years, she had the opportunity to coach singers in children’s musical theater, and she currently teaches voice, choir, theater, and piano in the DFW area.

Lucy believes that everyone has a unique voice with the potential to become healthy, strong, and beautiful through proper training. She emphasizes music literacy in vocalists, teaching her students to understand the notes and rhythms on the page rather than focusing solely on vocal technique. Her goal is to develop her students as musicians, not just singers
