Mattison Beezley, Vocalist

Mattison Beezley is a soprano and lessons instructor based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She will be graduating from UNT this upcoming Fall holding a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, and a Minor in French Language from the University of North Texas. During her time at North Texas, she was a member of each chorale ensemble including the UNT A Capella Choir and the paid singer ensemble, Conductor’s Chorus. She also had the chance to conduct her colleagues numerous times during her undergrad, as well as being a section leader in servals choirs. Mattison also served as the UNT American Choral Director’s Association President from 2024-2026. 


As an active performer in the DFW area, Mattison sings regularly with professional ensembles such as The Lafayette Musicians, Dallas Symphony Chorus and Highland Park Chorale. 


As a private voice and piano teacher with many years of teaching experience, Mattison has helped foster musicians around the DFW metroplex. Her students have had the chance to showcase their talents at various recitals, win awards for solo competitions, and have held lead roles in middle and high school musicals. 


Along with teaching, Mattison has had the opportunity to do many music workshops such as Duke University’s ChoirWorks in summer of 2025. She was also a member of Dr. Anthony Tracek-King’s conducting studio for the 2025 summer. Furthermore, she is also an active church musician, serving as a staff singer at Highland Park Presbyterian Church and singing for nearby churches in the area. 


Mattison’s teaching encircles the importance of musical excellence, while also catering to each student’s goals, needs, and skill set. Mattison works fervently to develop young students to the best of their ability, while also leaving room for creativity. She challenges her students to push themselves, but find ways to have fun with music as well.
