Sanai Lowe, Vocalist

Sanai Lowe is an alumna of West Texas A&M University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies from Collin College. During her educational career, Ms. Lowe was named to the President’s List each year, and achieved the honor of being a semi-finalist in The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Outstanding Ensemble Member, and Musical Theatre Intensive Competitor in The American College Theater Festival (ACTF). She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, All-State Choir, and a two-time winner of the Best Actress award in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) District One Act Play. Ms. Sanai’s extensive background in the theatre arts has molded her talents and resulted in her being proficient in performance, including singing (and teaching) multiple styles of voice, dance, and production genres.

Ms. Sanai is a Mezzo-Soprano with a vocal range that spans from D3-F6. She is a private voice and piano teacher with years of training and education. She is fluent in teaching vocal students of various ages and levels across multiple genres, including Classical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Gospel/Christian, Jazz, Blues, and Pop/Rock. You can frequently find her performing with the Voice Of Life Choir at Life-Changing Faith Christian Fellowship in Frisco, Texas, where she dedicates her time and talents in service to the community. She is also actively involved with multiple community theatres in the DFW area.

Ms. Sanai upholds a philosophy of confidence and creative expression for each student. As a child, even though she had a great love for music, she was extremely shy about singing in front of other people. With patience, a commitment to practice, and trusting her vocal instructors, she was able to conquer that fear, and now she is a teacher ready to help her students achieve greatness. Ms. Sanai seeks to meet students where they are in their creative process and guide their efforts in breaking out of their shell and letting their musical light shine, not for the enjoyment of others, but for themselves. She takes the time to learn and adapt to the learning style of each student; to understand who they are as an individual–their goals and interests. She wishes to establish a care-filled, fun, and structured discipline to ensure that each student finishes each class with a smile on their face, increased confidence; a step in the right direction.

When she is not teaching, Ms. Sanai enjoys spending time with her family, laughing with her friends and sisters, taking care of her dog, Marco; reading books and comics, watching superhero movies, trying new things, making new connections, and enjoying the blessings of life and considering the creative possibilities that she can experience, and also teach to the next generation of great minds.
