Mindam Baek, born in Incheon, South Korea, is an accomplished pianist and dedicated educator. She graduated from Sookmyung Women’s University with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance in Seoul, South Korea, earned her Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Mannes School of Music in New York, and is also a graduate of Gyeonggi Arts High School in Korea. She will begin her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Performance–Pedagogy at the University of North Texas in Fall 2025 to further specialize in both piano performance and pedagogy.

With over nine years of teaching experience, Mindam has worked with students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced performers, and has successfully prepared many of them for recitals that received outstanding performances and positive feedback.

Mindam’s teaching philosophy focuses on building a strong technical foundation while fostering musical expression and joy in learning. She strives to nurture each student’s potential, helping them develop both skill and a lifelong appreciation for music.
