Muyan Xin, violinist
Muyan Xin is a violinist and educator whose career spans both China and the United States. With more than two decades of violin study and performance, she holds Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees in Violin Performance from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, as well as an Artist Diploma from Texas Christian University, where she studied with renowned violinist Elisabeth Adkins.
In the United States, she has performed with the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and the San Angelo Symphony Orchestra and has served as Concertmaster of the Texas Christian University Symphony Orchestra. Her professional experience in China includes performances with the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra and Guiyang Symphony Orchestra. In 2018, she performed at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Muyan has taught violin students of all ages and skill levels since 2018. Her teaching focuses on building strong technical foundations, musical expression, and confidence in performance. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, she offers individualized instruction tailored to each student's goals and learning style.
